July 14, 2009

Stork Materials Technology has announced that Stork Climax Research Services, a provider of customized materials and metallurgical analysis programs in Wixom, Mich., has been accredited by Nadcap, the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program. According to Stork, it is the only independent laboratory approved by Nadcap for materials testing in Michigan.

Nadcap is a global cooperative standards-setting program for aerospace engineering, defense, and related industries. The accreditation allows Stork CRS to provide specialized testing programs to the aerospace and defense industries and help them to evaluate their components, forgings, castings, fasteners, valves, and base materials.
