Pratt & Miller wins French race

August 11, 2009

Pratt & Miller Engineering & Fabrication, New Hudson, Mich., won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race June 14 in France. The Pratt & Miller GT1-Champion Corvette Racing Team, which is run by the company on behalf of General Motors, uses FAROArm measurement equipment in the design, quality control, and race-specification compliance of their vehicles.

The team also uses the FARO Gage to validate parts in its precision machine shop and Laser ScanArm to reverse-engineer components. This allows the company's engineers and technicians to produce everything from small, individual components and subassemblies to complete turnkey road and race cars.
