Perceptron marks 30 years in business

In October Perceptron® Inc., Plymouth, Mich., celebrated 30 years of providing noncontact measurement and inspection systems to the automotive industry.
Founded in 1981, the company now has operations in the U.S., Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Japan, Singapore, China, and India. Its Commercial Business Unit develops and manufactures a variety of hand-held visual inspection devices and add-on accessories for professional tradespeople. Its Industrial Business Unit currently is in the process of introducing its Helix™ 3-D metrology system for inspection and dimensional gauging.
