Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology opens fixture facility in Michigan
Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology, Maple Grove, Minn., has opened a facility in Novi, Mich., dedicated to the manufacture of inspection fixtures for automotive stampings, body-in-white, underbody, rails, closures, and exterior/interior and under-hood plastic parts.
The company is a global supplier of purpose-built checking, SPC, attribute, optical (white light/blue light/laser — manual or robotic), CMM holding, and meisterbock (metal-match) fixtures for automotive OEMs and tier suppliers. It now has operations in North America, Europe and Asia, with additional consulting centers across 18 countries.
