Heidenhain appoints VP of sales and marketing

Heidenhain Corp., Schaumburg, Ill., a manufacturer of precision measurement and control equipment, has hired David Doyle as vice president of sales and marketing in North America. He has more than 25 years of extensive management experience.

Doyle served most recently as vice president of the Material Characterization Business Unit for Nanometrics. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and experimental physics from the National University of Ireland.
