Hexagon Metrology partners with Hendrick Motorsports

In a multiyear partnership agreement, Hexagon Metrology Inc., North Kingstown, R.I., has been named the official provider of dimensional metrology products and services to Hendrick Motorsports, winner of 10 NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series championships in Concord, N.C.

Hendrick Motorsports is a longtime user of Hexagon Metrology products for inspection and assembly of autobody, chassis, and engine components for both prerace adjustment and postrace evaluation. The official partnership expands Hendrick's in-house capabilities with multiple additional measuring systems, including ROMER Absolute Arms, GridLok portable measuring arm volume expansion systems, and Brown & Sharpe CMMs.
