IMS hires sales manager

Markus Forsch

IMS, a manufacturer of X-ray, isotope, and optical measuring systems for hot and cold mills and service centers based in Mars, Pa., has named Markus Forsch as sales manager. He has more than 20 years of engineering and operational experience.

Before joining the company, he was director of operations at Benteler Steel/Tube Mfg. Corp.’s Shreveport, La., facility. He also served as director of hot rolling at ThyssenKrupp Steel USA and held numerous management and engineering positions at ThyssenKrupp Steel facilities in Europe. Forsch has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen-Friedberg, Germany.
