IMS Systems names sales engineer
IMS Systems Inc., a Mars, Pa.-based manufacturer of X-ray, isotope, and optical measuring systems for hot mills, cold mills, and service centers, has hired Steve Devorich as a sales engineer. He is responsible for developing new business opportunities in the cold sheet production sector throughout North America and for helping customers maintain their gauges.
Devorich has more than 20 years of experience selling and servicing capital equipment for the metals industry worldwide. Before joining the company, he served as president and manager of quality assurance and sales for EMG USA. Earlier in his career, he held sales management positions with Fives North American Mfg. Co.
Devorich holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Barrington University and an associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology.
