Shapeline names new president

Shapeline AB, a Sweden-based provider of inline measurement systems for flatness measurements on plate and strip products, has named Helmut Hackl as president. He succeeds Magnus Titus, who is leaving the company for new operative challenges.

Hackl has a master’s degree in metallurgy from the Royal Institute of Technology. He has a long background within the ABB Group, including his most recent position as vice president – business development in the company’s Steel & Metals business segment.
