Tubotech 2009 attracts 16,500 visitors to Brazil

At Tubotech 2009, 5th International Tube, Fittings and Components Fair, in Sao Paulo, more than 16,500 visitors came to see 320 companies from 15 countries presenting the latest in pipes, pipe-making machinery, raw materials, measurement and control technology, and process technology tools and test equipment.

A total of 41 percent of the exhibitors were from countries other than Brazil. European exhibitors included companies from Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland. Asia was represented by companies from China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

The trade fair's organizers — Grupo CIPA (Brazil) and Messe Dusseldorf (Germany) — spoke of an upswing in the market, as illustrated by the high number of visitors meeting with exhibitors.
