Virtek to open office in U.K.

Waterloo, Ont.-based Virtek Vision Intl., a provider of laser templating and quality inspection systems, has announced plans to open a European office in Manchester, U.K.

The new office will showcase a product showroom featuring core technology with the ability to run on-site product demos for visitors. The company also reports it will decrease turnaround times for shipments and repairs.

Neil Stannard will serve as regional director of sales representing the Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.
