Thermacut expands sales team

Thermacut Inc., Claremont, N.H., recently created new sales positions and promoted staff to better serve its customer base throughout North America. The company has appointed Dana Colson as its first outside sales representative to service key selective distributors in the newly formed Northern Zone; Wade Chase as director of sales for North and South America; and Tom Farley as a manufacturer's representative for all Thermacut product lines.

Colson, who has been with Thermacut for five years as a plasma product specialist, works closely with the inside sales team.

In Chase's newly created position, he provides leadership and works to spearhead expansion into South America. Chase will relocate and establish a sales office in Colorado in the third quarter of 2008; key selective distributors in the new West Zone will be serviced from Colorado and in conjunction with Thermacut's existing inside sales team. Chase served previously as managing director.

Farley concentrates on expanding Thermacut's key selective distribution base in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, western Ohio, southern Minnesota, eastern Iowa, eastern Missouri, and northern Kentucky.

Thermacut is a provider of cutting and welding consumables, accessories, and torches.
