K&S adds equipment, automation

K&S Tool, Die and Manufacturing, a contract metals manufacturer in Ixonia, Wis., has added its fourth laser — a Mitsubishi 4,500-W with a new 16-shelf tower system to feed it. The automation allows lights-out manufacturing uptime for this area of the business, the company reports.
The manufacturer also has added a Lis-Mac automated descaler and a fourth brake press. The 150-ton Bystronic Expert allows for greater part size capability and configuration.
