TRUMPF announces laser division personnel changes

TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn., has announced several staff changes within its laser division.

David Havrilla has been promoted to manager of products and applications. He has been involved with industrial lasers for more than 23 years and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He also has done postgraduate study at the Imperial College in England, where he investigated the viability of laser cladding die components. Previously he served as manager of high-power lasers. He continues to be based at the company’s Plymouth, Mich., location.

Havrilla replaces Juergen Stollhof, who has relocated to the Farmington headquarters, where he is program manager of a new sales initiative that concentrates on microprocessing in the photovoltaic, semiconductor, and medical industries. Stollhof works with Paul Graham, Ph.D., who was named product manager.

In addition, Chris Pilcher has been named regional sales manager for TRUMPF Canada. He has more than 25 years of experience in the welding and systems integration field and holds degrees in mechanical engineering, mathematics, and business.

Michael Nuessler, most recently a service engineer with TRUMPF Mexico, now has the title of sales engineer for laser products. He is based in Queretaro, Mexico.

Bill Weston, a 10-year employee of the company who has more than two decades of experience in the laser industry, has been named Southwest regional sales manager.
