TRUMPF names director of spare parts in North America

TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn., recently named Claudio Schutz as director of spare parts in North America. Based in the Farmington headquarters, Schutz leads the spare parts team, including customer service representatives, buyers and planners, stock room, and return authorization groups, in all North American locations. He also leads the logistics function.

Schutz joined the company in 1995 as an affiliates controller at TRUMPF GmbH & Co. KG in Germany. He transferred to North America in 1998 as a controller and in 2003 joined TRUMPF Mexico as managing director. According to the company, he was instrumental in the development of TRUMPF Mexico, moving the company from Mexico City to Monterrey and leading it to become a full production and service subsidiary. While in Monterrey he was responsible for sales, service, spare parts, and production.
