Lincoln Electric to host pipe mill welding seminar in May

Lincoln Electric will demonstrate how to improve pipe welding processes at a free pipe mill welding seminar hosted at the company’s corporate headquarters in Cleveland, May 23-27, 2011. The five-day seminar runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Topics will include:

  • Latest advances in pipe welding equipment.
  • Consumable selection.
  • Identification and correction of weld defects.
  • Effect of welding essential variables, including heat input on weld metal properties.

Hands-on demonstrations will showcase multiarc welding techniques, equipment, and consumables. Tours of the company's manufacturing facilities, R&D Tech Center, and Automation Division also will be conducted.
