HGG launches 3-D profiling subsidiary in South Carolina

HGG, Middenmeer, Netherlands, a supplier of pipe cutting machines, robotic profile cutting lines, and associated cutting equipment, has opened a subsidiary in Charleston, S.C.

The new location, HGG Profiling Equipment, offers CNC cutting machines; custom machinery; and associated equipment for cutting steel beams, pipes, and tubing. The profiling equipment combines plasma and oxyfuel processes to profile complex beveled edges and 3-D profiles made from steel.

Combining robotics, the company's patented cutting head, and proprietary software, the machinery enables users to cut a variety of angles from +70 degrees to -70 degrees.

HGG operates cutting service centers in the Netherlands, Germany, and the U.K. and performs on-site cutting services worldwide. It also maintains subsidiaries in the Philippines, Singapore, China, and India.
