Burr Oak Tool holds sales summit

Burr Oak Tool Inc. hosted its second annual Oak Sales Summit May 15-18 in Sturgis, Mich. International representatives from Brazil, Japan, China, India, Thailand, the Czech Republic, and Mexico, along with local salespeople, met for training and to share information.

Presentations highlighted new machines and equipment, as well as research and development projects in process. The international representatives also spoke about their own geographic markets, the economic and competitor challenges they face, and how to overcome them. A roundtable discussion allowed the representatives and Burr Oak sales, service, engineering, parts, manufacturing, and assembly personnel to meet together to discuss issues, brainstorm ideas, and share information.

Burr Oak Tool Inc. designs customized production machinery for the heat transfer and tube processing industries.
