MetalTek acquires Specialty Maintenance and Construction

Waukesha, Wis.-based MetalTek Intl. has acquired Lakeland, Fla.-based Specialty Maintenance and Construction Inc., an industrial metal fabrication and machining company. SMCI manufactures piping, equipment components, structural designs, hardware, and pressure vessels.
MetalTek has five other U.S. locations and two facilities in the U.K.
