BLM Group USA appoints president/COO

BLM Group USA, Wixom, Mich., a manufacturer of tube processing equipment, has appointed Jeff Ahrstrom as president/COO. He replaces Jim Rutt, who is retiring.

Ahrstrom has more than 30 years of experience in the machine tool industry. He most recently served as managing director, central region, with Ellison Technologies. Before that he held a variety of positions with Fives Machining Systems. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration and will soon achieve a PhD in business administration.
