Epic Piping to build headquarters, pipe fabrication plant in Louisiana

New pipe fabrication company Epic Piping has announced it will build its national headquarters and a $45.3 million, 200,000-sq.-ft. plant in Livingston, La. According to the firm, the plant will create 560 full-time jobs.

The plant, expected to be completed in Q2 2016, can be expanded to 300,000 sq. ft. in the future. It will be used to fulfill large pipe orders. The firm also has a 60,000-sq.-ft. facility in Baton Rouge, La., for small pipe orders. Plans are also underway for a pipe plant in San Marcos, Texas.
