Falcon Steel boosts transmission pole production

Falcon Steel is expanding its in-house transmission pole production capacity to meet increasing demand for steel pole structures in power-delivery applications.

The company has added five pole section fitting and welding stations at its Haltom City, Texas, facility and launched a process improvement program to increase the facility’s output by 30 percent. The firm also has repurposed the facility’s seam welders, welding and fitting rollers, welding stations, and handling equipment to allot more capacity for pole production.
