Orbitform appoints engineering manager, senior proposal engineer

Orbitform Group has appointed John W. Cook as engineering manager and John Guerrera as senior proposal engineer.

With more than 37 years' experience in custom-designed automation machinery, Cook is a certified manufacturing engineer through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and a certified project manager through the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has managed engineering groups for five major automation manufacturers in the U.S. over the past 17 years. He also has taught many classes relating to automation control systems and authored technical papers.

Senior Proposal Engineer Guerrera has more than 20 years' industry experience in a similar capacity for Bodine Corp. and Milford Fastening Systems of Bridgeport, Conn. Besides representing the company's line of forming, fastening, and assembly systems, he will provide expertise in the company's automation facet.
