Schwarze-Robitec optimizes service in the U.S.
- June 22, 2017
- News Release
- Tube and Pipe Fabrication
Tube bending machine manufacturer Schwarze-Robitec is expanding its U.S. branch office, moving the North American service and distribution team to Grand Rapids, Mich. The site also includes a 2,000-sq.-ft. warehouse that stores the most important spare parts for its custom-made tube bending machines.
The service and sales teams now are working in close proximity to the Grand Rapids International Airport, so that engineers can reach customer sites quickly. Service engineers answer all support requests directly on-site. The team also provides spare parts procurement as well as machine maintenance and advises users on how to optimize their existing systems and bending processes. The Michigan office works closely with the experienced specialists at company headquarters in Cologne, Germany.
With this location in combination with the spare parts warehouse, “our customers in North America and Mexico benefit from even shorter delivery times for urgently needed parts,” said Bert Zorn, managing director of Schwarze-Robitec GmbH.
