Surround Technologies, Advanced Flow Systems expand manufacturing capacity
Maple Ridge, B.C.-based Surround Technologies and its sister company Advanced Flow Systems, part of AdvanTec Global Innovations, have added equipment and staff to double their manufacturing capacity to meet increasing customer demand in the areas of custom enclosures, pipe welding, and industrial contract manufacturing projects.
New equipment includes a 115-ton lift crane for moving extremely heavy and large enclosures and piping loads; a sandblasting booth; and subarc welding equipment and improved pipe spooling using orbital welding for fabricating penstock.
