Associated Tube Group receives third consecutive GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award
Associated Tube Group, Markham, Ont., a division of Samuel, Son & Co. Ltd., has won a 2014 GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award for the third year in a row for its supply of the GM Gen 5 direct injection DOM tubing to GM Components Holdings LLC. The GM Gen 5 V6 and V8 are the primary engines for GM pickup trucks and large SUVs.
The award, established in 2012, recognizes suppliers for quality, on-time delivery, customer support, and several other stringent criteria.
Associated Tube Group is a global supplier of stainless steel and high-nickel-alloy tubular products, with facilities in Markham and Saltillo, Mexico.
