Tube-Cut North America to open steel tube cutting factory in Salem, Ohio

Tube-Cut North America has announced that it is opening a steel tube cutting factory at Salem Industrial Park, Salem, Ohio. The announcement was made at the 2011 Columbiana County "Teaming4Success" Economic Summit.

The company will begin by cutting welded steel tubing for Tubetech a Midwest based manufacturer of electric welded steel tubing primarily for the automotive and appliance industries.

"We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our newest business venture in Salem today," said Tube-Cut North America President Jon Roscow. "Last year we attended the 2010 Columbiana County Summit, and were very impressed with what the county had to offer and decided this was where we wanted to locate our new company."

Roscow, who also serves as president of Tubetech North America, said the new company, which will initially create 10 news jobs in Salem, will produce cut length tubing and has plans to expand to fabricating tubing. The company will occupy the old Label facility located in Salem Industrial Park.
