Speaker Boehner visits United Performance Metals

U. S. House Speaker John Boehner spent time on May 11 with staff of United Performance Metals, Hamilton, Ohio, as well as 30 other local business leaders, to discuss current issues and obstacles they are facing in the area of job creation.

Boehner opened up the floor to questions from small-business owners, covering such topics as pension reform, EPA overreach, health care reform, export strategies, tax codes, and education.

"Employers take the risk to invest in a business, take a risk to hire people, and it all makes an impact in your community," said Boehner.

United Performance Metals is a supplier of specialty stainless steel and high-temperature alloys.
