Voortman open house scheduled for June

On June 28-29 Voortman will hold an open house at its Rijssen, Netherlands, plant to demonstrate its automated steel processing machines. During the Product Introduction Days 2012 event, company representatives will share in-depth information with customers, distributers, and industry publications to illustrate applications for steel fabricators and manufacturers.

Twelve CNC machines from both Voortman and Bach Cutting Systems will be set up during the event to show their production capability and high speed. The display will include five new machines: the Voortman VP2500 prefabrication painting system, V704M layout marking system, two Bach BCS Thermo systems, and the BCS Multi plate cutting system.

Visitors can attend educational seminars as well as tours through steel fabrication company Voortman Staalbouw, where the recent installation of the V808M coping system and the new V704M layout marking system have enabled a new material flow, including sawing, drilling, coping, layout marking, and cambering.
