Barton appoints Northeast regional sales manager

Barton Mines Co., Glens Falls, N.Y., has appointed Joe Morris as Northeast regional sales manager. He replaces Chris Waters, who has been promoted to manager of customer services.

Morris has been with the company since 2006 working in inside sales and has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the company's line of garnet abrasives and the market. He has participated in OEM training on various aspects of waterjet technology, allowing him to assist customers with fault diagnosis of machines.

Before joining the company, Morris worked in fabrication and manufacturing, gaining experience with technical paint and coating application methods and abrasive-media blasting.
