Bystronic Inc. announces machine demonstration days March 7 and 8, 2012

Bystronic Inc. will conduct machine demonstration days at its new U.S. headquarters and showroom located in Elgin, Ill., March 7-8, 2012.

Products to be demonstrated include the new ByJet Smart waterjet, featuring a compact design and efficient pump; the BySpeed Pro 3015, 6,000 W with automatic nozzle centering; and the ByTrans Extended fully automatic load and unload system, with dual stock material shelves and 60-second sheet-to-sheet cycle times.

The Xpert press brake, with a comprehensive database of material bend allowances and extensive empirical bending knowledge, also will be demonstrated. New options on the press brake include FastBend + for increased machine safety and Energy Saver for up to a one-third reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional press brakes, the company reports. Optical Bend Guiding guides the operator through all bending applications. LEDs indicate the correct position of the toolstations and bending sequences.
