Flow Intl., Motoman expand alliance

June 3, 2005

Flow International Corp., a supplier of ultrahigh-pressure waterjet products, and Motoman Inc., a provider of robotic automation and a wholly owned subsidiary of Yaskawa Electric Corp., have announced that they are expanding their relationship to deliver standard, pre-engineered robotic waterjet cutting solutions, called WaterWorlds™.

WaterWorlds will be produced in Motoman's production facility in Troy, Ohio, and will be sold by both companies' sales networks. To realign resources with this new strategic direction, Flow's custom robotic waterjet cutting system manufacturing will be relocated from Wixom, Mich. to Burlington, Ont.
