Flow Intl. names senior VP of engineering

Flow Intl. Corp., Kent, Wash., a developer and manufacturer of industrial waterjet machines for cutting applications, has appointed David Crewe as senior vice president of engineering. He reports to David Savage, president and CEO of Waterjet Holdings, a privately owned corporation with a portfolio of four operating companies that provide waterjet systems to customers worldwide.

Responsible for technology development and new-product development, he manages the engineering research and development teams globally. He serves as a member of the Waterjet Holdings leadership team.

Crewe previously worked for Veeco Instruments, KLA-Tencor, and Applied Materials. He holds PhD and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in physics from Occidental College.
