Ron Vogt Sr. retires from Weiler Corp. after 44 years

On June 1 Weiler Corp. honored Ron Vogt Sr. on his retirement from the company after 44 years of service. The celebration in Canadensis, Pa., included company executives, marketing and sales staff, co-workers, friends, and family members.

Vogt started at Weiler in 1967 on the production floor, and over the course of his career worked in a variety of positions within customer service, materials management, purchasing, and application engineering. In 2000 Vogt started working with product management in the marketing department, specializing in the core power brush product line. He held this position until hisretirement.

At the celebration, President and CEO Chris Weiler stated, "There are a handful of people that really shaped the company we are today, and Ron, you are absolutely one of those people."

Weiler Corp., Cresco, Pa., is a manufacturer of power brushes, abrasives, and maintenance products.
