Western Enterprises donates equipment to local community college

Western Enterprises, Westlake, Ohio, has partnered with Lorain County Community College (LCCC) to supply equipment for the new National Center for Welding Education and Training to be built this year. The center will be housed in LCCC's Manufacturing Center of Excellence in the Nord Advanced Technology Center and is a collaborative program with The Ohio State University.

Western Enterprises has provided more than 72 pieces of equipment, including shielding gas regulators and flowmeters, oxygen and acetylene regulators, torch and regulator flashback arresters, and quick disconnects. This initial donation will sufficiently equip an entire welding instruction lab in the new training center.
