All-in-one GMAW machines suitable for thin-gauge metals

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has introduced the Millermatic® 350 GMAW and 350P pulsed GMAW power sources designed for welding thin-gauge aluminum, stainless steel, and steel.
Both units offer 208/230- or 460/575-V single- and three-phase input power, a duty cycle rating of 60 percent at 300 amps/32 V, a 25- to 400-amp output, and line voltage compensation.
Suitable for smaller fabricators and manufacturers that have only single-phase power as well as three-phase operations, the machines allow operators to disconnect the GMAW gun and replace it with an optional push-pull wire feed gun without any upgrade. Push-pull provides continuous torque to wire, with the gun motor controlling actual feed speed at the arc.
To begin pulsed GMAW with the pulsed unit, the operator selects the built-in program that matches the wire type and size, and the unit automatically sets the pulse parameters. Once the desired arc length is set, the operator only needs to adjust wire feed speed to weld a different metal thickness.
The pulsed unit has a four-roll wire drive system that features two scaled, tension adjustments and reversible drive rolls for 0.035 and 0.045 wire.
