Auto-darkening welding helmet can be used in weld, grind mode

The new Tweco® WeldSkill® auto-darkening welding helmet from Thermadyne Industries Inc. features four sensors and can be used in both weld mode and grind mode.
The 16-oz., solar-powered helmet has a 3.86- by 1.69-in. viewing area that darkens even for GTAW at 5 amps. The helmet darkens in 33 µs. For switching from dark to light, users can select from short, medium, and long switching speeds.
Sensitivity and delay knobs are on the outside of the helmet shell so that operators can make adjustments while welding. A recessed lens design helps protect the faceplate from scratching.
