Compact power source meets output requirements from power-intensive to precise

Designed to withstand harsh environments, the new Dimension™ 650 multiprocess welding machine from Miller Electric Mfg. Co. combines durability, output, efficiency, and capability in a small, easy-to-handle package, says the manufacturer. It provides power-intensive output for heavy welding and carbon-arc gouging, as well as precision arc characteristics for thin-metal welding.

The machine features a corrosion-resistant, all-aluminum case. The protection input inductor protects against “dirty power” commonly found on jobs, preventing power fluctuations from affecting performance or reliability. Wind Tunnel Technology™ directs internal airflow to protect sensitive electronic components from dirt, dust, and debris. Fan-on-Demand™ operates only when needed. With 3.25 in. of ground clearance, the machine is protected from water, mud, and dirt.

Compared to the Dimension 652, the new model is 3.5 times lighter and has a 40 percent smaller footprint.
