Electrode welds steel requiring 70,000-PSI minimum tensile strength

The Select 711 gas-shielded, flux-cored carbon steel electrode from Select-Arc Inc. welds steels that require a minimum of 70,000-PSI tensile strength.

The all-position electrode produces good arc drive and bead shape, the company states. The arc transfer is positive, smooth, and stable with low spatter emission.

Four diameters are available: 0.035, 0.045, 0.052, and 1/16 in. The electrode is suitable for applications involving structural steel, farm machinery, construction equipment, and general carbon steel fabrication.
