FCAW-G wire designed for pressure vessel fabrication

Lincoln Electric has introduced new UltraCore® SR-12 gas-shielded, flux-cored (FCAW-G) wire. This 75 to 80 percent argon/balance CO2 wire meets AWS E71T-12M-JH8 requirements in as-welded and stress-relieved conditions.
The wire is suitable for pressure vessel fabrication and applications requiring postweld heat treatment of mild steel.
Available in 15- and 33-lb. packages, the wire comes in the standard 0.045-in. dia.
