Gas lenses for GTAW torches available in standard, large-diameter, and 'stubby' sizes

Weldcraft offers multiple styles of precision-machined gas lenses for its WP series and Crafter Series™ air- and water-cooled GTAW torches. The lenses are designed to help optimize shielding gas coverage, improve GTAW performance consistency, and dissipate heat effectively.

The lenses are available in standard, large-diameter, and "stubby" sizes to fit GTAW torches with 10N or 13N series front-end parts. They accommodate tungsten electrode diameters from 0.020 to 0.156 in. Each lens features screens that direct the shielding gas flow around the weld puddle to help minimize weld defects and improve productivity, the company states. The lenses fit competitive GTAW torches as well.
