Multiprocess welding machine comes with optional portable wire feeder
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has introduced Warrior™ 400i Multi-Voltage, a multiprocess welding machine with 230-V, three-phase or 460-V, three-phase power. Designed for GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW, as well as arc gouging, the unit can be equipped with the new MobileFeed 201AVS wire feeder. It is powered off the arc, so no cables are required, allowing wire feeding to be moved farther away from the power source.
The welding machine provides up to 400 amps at 60 percent duty cycle. It welds 0.030- to 0.078-in. flux-cored and solid wires and performs carbon arc gouging up to 0.3125 in. dia.
Features include power compensation, parameter adjustment close to the operator, and TrueArcVoltage™ for constant arc voltage all day long. The unit’s air tunnel design keeps critical electronics free from dirt, oil, and foreign objects. All controls, including the power switch, are on the front panel.
