Self-contained blowtorch redesigned

Gala Gar has changed the design of its Aerogala self‐contained blowtorch, adding a faster, more reliable ignition and a safety catch to prevent undesired ignition.

The blowtorch is designed for professional work both in DIY and plumbing. It handles soft and hard welding of up to 0.87 in. dia. The unit can work in inverted position because of a refill that also provides the blowtorch with 30 percent more calorific value than the normal butane bottle, the company states.
