Welding curtain protects, enhances vision

The Spectra Orange See-Thru Curtain™ from Wilson Industries filters both welding arc images and all far UV radiation and blue light, while transmitting outside light into the welding booth to aid the welder's vision. The curtain also provides safety to surrounding areas.

The company recommends using the curtain for low to high amperages in electric arc welding and may be used for GMAW, GTAW, arc, plasma, and other high-amperage welding functions. Suitable for heavy-duty applications, the 40-mil curtain is designed to provide strength, longevity, and abrasion resistance. Also available in 14 mil, the curtain covers a range of 15 to 1,300 amps in controlling hazardous radiation and meets California State Fire Marshal requirements, the company reports.

Optional accessories include hooks, curtain ties, additional grommets, E-Z FAS'N fasteners, wind control valves, chains, and patch kits.
