The IRONCAT® line of welding gloves from West Chester Holdings is designed for the heat shielding, dexterity, and protection requirements of SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW applications.

The SMAW gloves feature thick materials to withstand high heat. The 14-in. length provides forearm coverage, while welts protect finger seams against sparks and abrasion. Split cowhide is offered for durability and abrasion resistance, while softer elk gloves help prevent hand fatigue. Cotton linings are available for breathability; foam insulation also is available for heat resistance.

The GMAW gloves have an unlined palm with foam insulation on the back of the hand for heat protection. They are available in cowhide, goatskin, deerskin, and pigskin.

The GTAW gloves are unlined and constructed of lighter-weight materials for added dexterity. They come in goatskin, kidskin, and deerskin.

Wing thumb designs are suitable for open-handed work, while a straight thumb is designed for better gripping. A reinforced thumb strap helps increase durability.
