Welding machines offer portable power
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has introduced the Rebel 235ic series of portable, multiprocess welding machines. Available in early 2017, the series includes the Rebel EMP 235ic for GMAW/SMAW/GTAW and Rebel EM 235ic for GMAW.
The 53-lb. unit has a 235-amp rated output at 40 percent duty cycle (maximum output is 250 amps/30 V). It automatically detects the correct single-phase input power from 90 to 270 V.
The machine holds 4-, 8-, or 12-in. wire spools; features dual gas ports with solenoid valves; and has optional single- and dual-cylinder carts, remote amperage controls, and spool guns for GMAW aluminum.
