Cleaning station designed for robotic GMAW guns

Arndt Enterprise Ltd. has introduced the AE-SC2CV nozzle cleaning station with pneumatic reamer, designed for manufacturers using robotic GMAW guns. The system can be used with all brands of robotic GMAW guns and various sizes of nozzles and contact tips.

When fully equipped, the system is designed to trim the weld wire, clean the nozzle and contact tip of built-up weld spatter, and apply anti-spatter compound. All service operations are completed in less than 6 sec., the company states.

All operations take place after one robot move of the gun. Multiple gun movements are eliminated.
