Rexroth offers newly developed planetary screw assemblies that allow for heavy loads to be moved quickly. The drive elements are available in five sizes with a static load capacity of up to 475 kN. The compact units require less installation space than ball screw assemblies with the same capacity. The drive elements are suitable for intermediate and heavy engineering applications, such as pressing and machining.

The design with large contact areas helps improve load-bearing capacity without increasing dimensions. Planetary gears with a defined contact profile rotate inside a nut parallel to the axis around a bolt. The numerous contact areas contribute to a high axial rigidity and load-bearing capacity.

The planetary bolts rotate inside the nut, allowing them to run smoothly with decreased noise. The sealing technology allows for long lubrication intervals.

Screw diameters of 0.79, 1.18, and 1.89 in. and leads of 0.20 and 0.40 in. are available.
