Cordless stud welding machine is portable

Nelson® Stud Welding has introduced the Pinnacle™ NCD+ 500b cordless, battery-powered stud welding machine. Its patent-pending design delivers thousands of welds on a single battery charge, states the company.

The 18-lb., portable unit comes with a padded shoulder strap for transporting. There is no need for a generator or power cord.

The high-capacity, lithium-ion battery is removable for charging. It charges in two hours from a 120-V power outlet with the included charging unit.

The 31-ft. welding cable creates a large-diameter welding area. Features include microprocessor-controlled safety and diagnostic functions and a graphical gun display.
