Self-clinching fasteners designed for stainless steel, high-strength aluminum alloy sheets

New microPEM® TackPin® Type T4™ self-clinching fasteners are available from PennEngineering® for installation into stainless steel or high-strength aluminum alloy sheets. The patented fasteners enable sheet-to-sheet attachment for a variety of applications in compact electronic assemblies in which disassembly will not be required.

The fastener’s interference fit helps minimize hole tolerance issues. The tapered tip assists in location, and the low-profile head saves space.
